Are you properly using these social tools?

July 26, 2011

Social Media is something we all can do. While big companies with deep pockets are the ones investing more money, you can actually achieve incredible results even if you do it on your own.

There’s only one risk of such an strategy: Social Media is time consuming and while you can always start small, sooner or later you’ll need to hire someone to manage the area. But then again: if you are small you might not want to hire someone to manage just social media and then you will start to lose ground.

We actually look for customers who understand that they cannot play alone in this field and we offer a taylor made solution. However we preffer those who want to participate in the game: resutls are better when the agency does one part of the job and the customer the other.

So if you ever drop by our office the first question we will ask you is: how are you using social media? Have you use any of these tools so far? And we always get the same answer: “yes, but it’s not working…” And once we dig we find out that they have everything they need, but they are not using the tools properly.

Merely installing a landing page to your facebook page will not be enough. Just as adding a like button on your website won’t actually improve your performance. You need these tools, but the one thing you need is to use them.

You have to be a master in twitter, you have to know how to get your customers like your content and so on. If you don’t know how to do it, you can always drop us a line: info@frenys.com
